Grandma's Boy is a 2006 comedy film starring Allen Covert, Linda Cardellini, and Nick Swardson. Alex (Covert) and Josh are roommates who are kicked out of their apartment after failing to pay the rent. After running out of options, Alex is forced to move in with his grandmother, Lilly (Doris Roberts). Alex works as a video game tester and through his job meets Samantha (Cardellini) who is supervising the development of a new video game. Samantha and Alex quickly hit it off, but the game's creator J.P. (Joel Moore) forces himself between them. Alex has been working on a video game he created called Demonik and it is stolen by J.P. Alex must then convince everyone that Demonik is his game and his grandmother becomes very good at it. In order to prove to his boss that he created the game, he has his grandmother come to the office and play through it.moreless
