Graveyard of Honor recounts the story of a fearless bartender who, after intervening and saving the life of one of the highest Yakuza mafia heads, is invited to join the organization and fill its crime ranks. A remake shot by Japanese director Takashi Miike and produced by Daiei Motion and Excellence Film, it depicts the often careless attitude and actions of the former barman and his fast adjustment to the new organization. But moving up at such a fast pace and not knowing the strict code of the Yakuza is bound to bring him some problems, and he eventually commits a fatal mistake. He is cut loose and now has only the help of his prison brother, whom he depends on to protect his life. A series of episodes lead him into a prison break attempt and the ultimate fight for his protection. This film is a violence-filled action thriller that will hold you to the screen.
