Metacritic Score

  • 100

    The Hollywood Reporter Todd McCarthy

At once the most realistic and beautifully choreographed film ever set in space, Gravity is a thrillingly realized survival story spiked with interludes of breath-catching tension ...

  • 100

    The Telegraph Robbie Collin

A science-fiction thriller of rare and diamond-hard brilliance.

  • 80

    The Guardian Xan Brooks

The film thrums with an ongoing existential dread. And yet, tellingly, Cuaron's film contains a top-note of compassion that strays at times towards outright sentimentality.

  • Good effort.

I saw this in 3D which would help any film-but in this case the film didn't need the help and worked better than average with the 3D. Sandra Bullock doesn't do many SF films but when she does she does a good one-George Clooney was also good in this film. I have seen several 3D films and they are usually quite amazing. Not like in the 1950's-much much better. I would recommend this film to hard core SF fans and to people who are generally not interested in SF. Good effort.moreless
