Greener Mountains is a 2004 independent romantic drama directed by Lee Shallat-Chemel. Protagonist J.P. Barton (Chris Heuisler) has grown up almost entirely at his family's luxurious resort in Vermont. Adopted as an infant by the aging resort owners, J.P. has led a sheltered but happy life led almost entirely within the walls of the sprawling resort. He soon falls deeply in love with Alice Flynn (Kimberly McCullough), a gorgeous and brilliant artist from New York who offers J.P. a fresh, metropolitan perspective on life. Alice challenges many of J.P.'s deepest convictions and forces him to think in new and exciting ways. However, his hopes of winning Alice are threatened when the Bartons discover that they may be forced to close down their beloved resort. J.P. must somehow pursue Alice and simultaneously save his family from ruin. Along the way, he learns many important lessons about who he is, and the kind of man he would like to be.moreless
