Greenmail

Movie Summary

Director:
Jonathan Heap
Released:
2002
Rating:
R
Greenmail follows fanatical environmentalist Scott Anderson (Stephen Baldwin) as he is arrested and accused of multiple acts of terrorism when a bomb unexpectedly explodes in a chemical processing plant. The focus shifts off him when another explosion occurs after he has been incarcerated. Scott must team up with two brash ATF agents, Ashley Pryor (Kelly Rowan) and Tom Bradshaw (Tom Skerritt). Together they must determine whether the bombings are the work of one of Scott's peers, ecological activist Jeremy O'Brien (D.B. Sweeney), or a third-party. They soon find that there are many places to hide in Seattle and Jeremy O'Brian could be anywhere. Time is not on their side, where every minute could cost lives in this suspense film. Brilliant actions scenes and enormous explosions give this movie a great deal of energy. Supporting cast include Rebecca Clarke (Sarah Richardson), Allison Jeffreys (Suki Kaiser), and Martin Case (Alan C. Peterson).
