Grindhouse: Planet Terror is the outrageous zombie gore fest from filmmaking jack-of-all-trades Robert Rodriguez (El Mariachi, Desperado, From Dusk Til Dawn, The Faculty, Spy Kids, Sin City). Cherry Darling (Rose McGowan, Scream, Jawbreaker) is a stripper who wants to make a dramatic change in her life. She gets that when her leg is torn off by one of many horrific, experimental-gas induced zombies that are unleashed on the countryside by a rouge military unit led by Bruce Willis, and is replaced with a machine gun by her estranged boyfriend El Wray (Freddy Rodriguez). The twosome unite to combat the zombie plague, joined by a group of disparate survivors they run into along the way, including the local sheriff, his barbecue pushing brother, a young female doctor, crazy babysitter twins and Cherry's sleazy brothel ex-boss. The group soon find themselves holed up at J.T's Boneshack where they must fight to survive long enough to locate the source of the outbreak and squelch it.moreless
