Gunslinger is a western movie directed by Roger Corman and made in 1956. Trouble starts in Oracle, Texas when some local thugs murder Marshal Scott Hood (William Schallert). His wife Rose (Beverly Garland) takes over as marshal until the new marshal can arrive. She has a short time to find the gunman and avenge her husband's death. Rose doesn't take much time to begin her mission. While at her husband's funeral she shoots one of his murderers. Rose and the saloon owner, Erica Paige (Allison Hayes), become bitter enemies with each on either side of the law. Erica hires a hitman to kill Rose and make it easier for the saloon owner to continue her wicked ways. Cane Miro (John Ireland), comes to Oracle to kill Rose but instead falls in love with her. He also has a torrid affair with Erica, making an interesting love triangle. The triangle can't continue for long and is soon broken.
