Gunsmoke Ranch is one of 51 Western films starring the Three Mesquiteers who spend their days riding to the rescue. In Gunsmoke Ranch, a flood drives people from their homes, leaving them desperate and vulnerable. Phineas T. Flagg (Kenneth Harlan) talks everyone into agreeing to a deal that seems too good to be true - relocate to Gunsmoke Ranch with 40 acres of land and the opportunity to rebuild. The Three Mesquiteers Stony Brooke (Robert Livingston), Tucson Smith (Ray Corrigan), and Lullabye Joslin (Max Terhune) know Flagg to be a crook and want to know what he's up to now. They discover a plot to rob the people of Gunsmoke Ranch of their hard-earned money and the new homes they have lovingly built. Can the Three Mesquiteers stop Flagg before he succeeds in his nefarious mission or will the people of Gunsmoke Ranch be forced to leave their new homes even poorer than before?
