Half Empty is a 2006 musical film written and directed by Robert Peters, which tells the story of a high-spirited writer and motivational speaker who struggles to pass on some of his optimism and joy to the people around him. Bob Patterson (Robert Peters) is an enthusiastic author and counselor who just wrote a book about the importance of a positive attitude in achieving happiness. When he meets with his publishers, a group of boring individuals, he is told that his book sold only one copy in the United States. However, this is not the kind of news that could suppress Bob's enthusiasm, as he firmly believes that Germany is the country where he is hugely popular. Upon arriving in Germany, he meets Greta (Mareike Fell), an emotionally cold woman who is assigned the task to be his local publisher. Bob soon realizes that it takes more than his own optimism to create something that people would appreciate.moreless
