Hanky Panky is a 1982 comedy starring Gene Wilder and Gilda Radner, his wife in real life. Michael Jordon (Wilder) is an architect who gets into a taxi and sits next to a young woman. The young woman has some kind of strange package, but Jordon does not know what it is. She is later murdered, and Jordon is accused. He runs into Kate Hellman (Radner), who is trying to find out who killed her brother. They team up, suspecting each other is the killer. Will they be able to unravel the mysterious deaths of Hellman's brother and the young woman in the taxi as they cross the United States? What was in the box, and is it connected to her death? Can they fall in love and stay one step ahead of the law at the same time? Richard Widmark and Kathleen Quinlan costar in this film directed by Sidney Poitier.
