Hannie Caulder is a 1971 western directed by Burt Kennedy and starring Raquel Welch, Robert Culp, Ernest Borgnine and Christopher Lee. Three brothers (Jack Elam, Strother Martin and Ernest Borgnine) are on the run from a bank robbery and stop at a horse station. They kill the owner and burn the place down. The owner's wife Hannie Caulder (Raquel Welch) is brutally raped and left for dead. Having lost everything, Caulder seeks revenge. She hires the reserved but hot-headed spectacled bounty hunter Thomas Price (Robert Culp) to teach her how to shoot a gun, and to help her in her quest for vengeance. After some initial coldness, Price warms up to Caulder and helps her to achieve her revenge, even though he never stops questioning its purpose. He travels with her to Mexico to meet a former Confederate gunmaker (Chistopher Lee). A brutal showdown seems inevitable, but will Price and Caulder come out on top to share a life together?
