Happy Birthday to Me is a classic '80's slasher movie, directed by Academy Award nominee J. Lee Thompson (The Guns of Navarone) and famous for a marketing campaign boasting 'Six of the most bizarre murders you will ever see'. Happy Birthday to Me stars Melissa Sue Anderson (Little House on the Prairie) as Ginny, a new student at Crawford Academy. Everyone wants to join the school's 'in crowd', but now the cool kids are getting brutally killed, one by one. Is the slaughter something to do with Ginny's past? And will her 18th birthday party be a celebration - or massacre? The film is part whodunnit, part psychological thriller and part black comedy, but 100% shocking, gory entertainment. It's the cult favourite that DVD Drive-In called "Pure slasher fun from beginning to end" and Arrow in the Head declared to be "downright nasty... a slit throat above the usual slasher flick!"
