Hard Cash, a.k.a. Run for the Money, is a 2002 crime thriller. When notorious felon Thomas Taylor (Christian Slater) gets out of prison, his first order of business is another brilliant heist with his quirky team of crooks, including lovely Virginia (Daryl Hannah), Eddie (Balthazar Getty) and Rock (Bokeem Woodbine). Unfortunately for Taylor and company, their target Bo Young (William Forsythe) and his sidekick Attila (Verne Troyer) purposely planted marked bills for the criminals as part of a conspiracy with corrupt FBI agent Mark Cornell (Val Kilmer). Cornell can now force the Taylor gang to engineer the robbery of high-profile riverboat casino, or they can head straight back to prison. Since convict Taylor can't go to the police, he must follow Cornell's orders. Or, will he find a way to outmaneuver him? Director Predrag Antonijevic provides plenty of action and suspense in a criminal caper where there are no good guys.
