Hare and Hound Classic is a sports action film directed by Bruce Brown that presents one of the most exciting cross-country motocross races held in the desert. An adrenaline volcano is about to erupt in 1967 Mojave Desert in California, as the Hare and Hound Championship brings more than eight hundred motorcycle enthusiasts to the start line. They are about to begin the most challenging race against themselves and the tough landscape, which includes steep canyons, dangerous descents, high hills with nothing but rocks and sand around them. The camera follows some of the most intense motocross action as the dust starts floating in the air when the brave racers start their engines. Among those who dare to challenge the nature are famous riders J.N. Roberts, Buck Smith and Larry Berquist, who come to the competition to demonstrate their extraordinary skills and endurance. The raw footage is supplemented with commentary and on the spot interviews with some of the desert heroes.moreless
