2008
Rating:
PG-13
Harold is a comedy film based on a skit from Saturday Night Live and features several of the show's cast members including Colin Quinn, Rachel Dratch and Chris Parnell. Harold Clemens (Spencer Breslin) is a 13-year-old teenager who looks and feels like a 40-year-old man. His premature balding regularly incites bullying and cruel comments, and he is frustrated with a variety of troubling ailments, including bunions and hemorrhoids. Things only get worse when his mom (Ally Sheedy) moves the family and enrolls her son in a new school. After a difficult adjustment period, Harold finally finds a sympathetic ear in the school's janitor, Cromer (Cuba Gooding, Jr.), and makes friends with a group of nerdy students. As Harold develops his first crush and struggles to find his place in the new school, he discovers that even the most hopeless situations can have unexpected benefits. Harold was written and directed by T. Sean Shannon.
