Movie Summary

David Yates

Voldemort's power is growing stronger. He now has control over the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. Harry, Ron, and Hermione decide to finish Dumbledore's work and find the rest of the Horcruxes to defeat the Dark Lord. Director David Yates spins the series' most expansive, structurally free-form chapter yet -- lumbering and gripping by turns, and suffused with a profound sense of solitude and loss.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Harry: You're brilliant, Hermione. Truly.
Hermione: Actually, I'm highly logical, which allows me to look past the extraneous detail and perceive clearly that which others overlook.

    • Moody: For those of you who haven't taken Polyjuice Potion before, fair warning: It tastes like goblin piss.

    • Scrimgeour: (addressing the press) These are dark times, there is no denying. Our world has, perhaps, faced no greater threat than it does today. But I say this to our citizenry: We, ever your servants, will continue to defend your liberty and repel the forces that seek to take it from you. You're ministry remains strong.
