Harry Tracy, Desperado is a 1982 western film based on the life of Harry Tracy (Bruce Dern), the last of the wild bunch that included Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid, and John Wesley Harding. Tracy is on his way to Portland, Oregon. He his trying to find Catherine Tuttle (Helen Shaver), the love of his life, who also happens to be a judge's daughter. Unfortunately, Tracy is betrayed by friends and ends up under arrest, then imprisoned. Supremely adaptive, Tracy escapes and becomes the object of the largest manhunt in North American history. On the run, he is finally able to track down his long-lost love, Catherine. The two join forces and flee to escape the hundreds of national guardsman who are intent on brining them to justice. With insurmountable odds against them, both Tracy and Catherine know it is only a matter of time before they are captured or killed.
