Havoc is a dramatic film directed by Barbara Kopple that centers on the lives of wealthy Los Angeles teens, whose interest and hip hop dreams leads them to imitate the gangster life. But then they actually meet real-life gangsters and drug dealers, these preppies find themselves in over their heads. Teen filmmaker Eric (Matt O'Leary) decided to document this faux-gangster lifestyle and follows around Allison (Anne Hathaway), her boyfriend Toby (Mike Vogel), and their friends Emily (Bijou Phillips) and Sam (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), in their Pacific Palisades neighborhood as their upper class gang faces against others just like them. When they encounter a drug dealer (Freddy Rodriguez) in their search for marijuana, the fake life they had been living is pushed into reality as Toby's threatened with a gun and the girls are invited to join their gang. As the dark truth begins to unravel, it seems that Allison and her ÒgangÓ just might turn into reality after all.
