Hawaiian Holiday is a 1937 animated Disney short. Mickey Mouse (Walt Disney) and his friends head to Hawaii for a relaxing and luxurious beach vacation, but wacky hijinks interrupt their plans. In Waikiki, Goofy (Pinto Colvig) decides to try his hand at surfing. The waves seem to be actively working against Goofy, however, leaving him high and dry. Meanwhile, Pluto (Pinto Colvig) is having fun exploring and meeting all the interesting creatures in the area, including a starfish and a crab. When he gets a little too rowdy, the starfish and crab have to teach the dog some manners. Donald Duck (Clarence Nash) is eager to show off his hula dancing skills, but wearing a grass skirt near a fire turns out to be a bad idea. While their friends are getting into all kinds of trouble, Mickey and his girlfriend Minnie (Marcellite Garner) try to soak up some sun and enjoy the lush colors of Waikiki. Mickey plays guitar while Minnie hula dances, but their friends might spoil their plans.moreless
