Hearts of Fire is a 1987 musical drama that follows the story of Billy Parker (Bob Dylan), a former musician who now leads a more reclusive and quiet lifestyle. He still has plenty of rock star charm, however, and on a trip to a small town, Billy uses all his charm on Molly (Fiona Flanagan), a beautiful and naive young waitress. Seduced by the brooding and mysterious rock star, Molly agrees to leave behind her humble life and live in London with Billy, enjoying a taste of lingering fame and fortune. What neither Molly nor Billy expect is that a different kind of star will show up on Molly's doorstep. Up-and-coming Jimmy Colt (Rupert Everett) has all the charisma, energy and power that Billy once had, and he is willing to do anything to get what he wants. Since what he wants is Molly, a love triangle forms, with Molly unable to decide between the two men.
