Heller In Pink Tights is a 1960 Western spoof directed by the legendary George Cukor ("The Philadelphia Story"). In 1890s Wyoming, the traveling Healy Dramatic Company barely stays ahead of the creditors thanks to leading lady Angela Rossini (Sophia Loren) and her expensive taste in clothes. The besotted company owner, Tom Healy (Anthony Quinn) can't say no to Angela and believes they are just one show-stopping opera away from success. When the theatrical troupe lands in Cheyenne, the flirtatious Angela loses a poker match and becomes the property of handsome gunslinger Clint Mabry (Steve Forrest). Angela manages to juggle the love triangle until a villainous double-cross by De Leon (Ramon Novarro) forces Mabry to join the stage show and team up with his rival Healy. Based on a Louis L'Amour novel, this colorful comedy about show folks, suspicious sheriffs and romantic yearning provides a fun and entertaining trip through the Old West.
