Hellgate is a 1990 horror movie directed by William Levey. In the film, a group of college students are passing through the small town of Hellgate when they become intrigued about a local legend. The legend states that a young woman, Josie (Abigail Wolcott), was abducted from a diner and brutally murdered by a heinous biker gang in the 1950s. Years after her death Josie's father found a blue crystal that supposedly brought things or people back to life. He was warned that bringing the dead back to life came with consequences, but his desperation to see his daughter again led him to accept the consequences. When Josie was brought back to life the warnings came true, and her father sat back and let it happen. The college kids have many questions about Josie's death, the consequences of using the blue crystal and why so many men have disappeared from Hellgate since Josie's murder.
