Hellinger is a 1997 horror film directed by Massimiliano Cerchi. In 1979, the young Melissa Moran (Kelly Goldstein) sees a terrifying monster, known as Hellinger (Wayne Petrucelli), brutally murder her abusive father. Hellinger is a former Catholic priest, doomed to become a flesh-eating white demon with no eyes after he made a pact with the devil. In the present day, grown-up Melissa (Shannah Betz) lives in New York City. She is so traumatized by Hellinger that she has to get help from a psychiatrist, Ross Hillman (Robert Cummins). Kendall (Artie Richard), her cousin, is a tattooed police officer who tries to help Melissa overcome her traumatic past as he investigates a series of mysterious homicides in the city. When Hellinger reappears, Melissa's worst nightmares start to become a reality yet again. With its excessive bloodshed, zany violence, and unnecessary nudity, this film is sure to delight all fans of campy horror movies.
