Hello Again is a 1987 romantic comedy about a woman who comes back from the dead and tries to rebuild her life. While getting a tarot card reading from her eccentric sister Zelda (Judith Ivey), Lucy Chadman (Shelley Long) chokes to death on a meatball. A year of grief passes until Zelda discovers a spell that magically brings Lucy back from the dead. The world she returns to is very different from the one that she left. Her husband Jason (Corbin Bernsen) has re-married in the interim to Lucy's high-school rival Kim (Sela Ward). Distraught, Lucy returns to the hospital where she first died and reconnects with Kevin Scanlon (Gabriel Byrne), the doctor who originally treated her in the emergency room. As word gets out of her resurrection, Lucy becomes a media celebrity, arousing jealousy in Kim and new interest in Jason. Ultimately, Lucy must decide whether to try and rebuild her old life or try to build a new one.moreless
