Hercules is the epic Italian fantasy starring the legendary Steve Reeves. Hercules (Steve Reeves) joins forces with an army of Argonauts and sets out on a series of adventures. They battle a group of mutant apes who try to capture them, and it is Hercules' incredible strength that breaks the blockade. Along the way he woos Princes Iole (Sylva Koscina), daughter of King Pelias (Ivo Garrani). Iole tells Hercules about the fact that her country's most important possession, their golden fleece, has been stolen. Hercules then sets out to recover it, the quest that dominates his adventures. He rescues his ship, the Argo, from a tumultuous storm, and then he has to reign in a crew that is near mutiny. They land on a tropical island filled with buxom women, the Amazons, and the crew think they have found their destination. However, it soon becomes clear that the Amazons are planning to eradicate the entire crew. Hercules must once again set them free and keep them on course as they search for their prize.moreless
