Hercules Against Karate is a 1973 Italian action comedy directed by Antonio Margheriti and written by Sergio Donati. This crazy slapstick comedy camp fest is an almost shameless homage to the Hong Kong Kung-fu craze of the 1970s. Immensely strong and powerful Mr. Hercules (Alberto Terracina) and Danny (Fernando Bilbao) are hardworking roughnecks living in Sydney, Australia. The duo has the ability to find trouble just about everywhere. They first find trouble in their employer's cafeteria, then blunder into more when they trash a bar during a fight, fought with a football team over an overly large sandwich. Impressed by the mayhem, the bar owner hires the duo, and sends them to Hong Kong to retrieve his son from the clutches of evil kung-fu master Ming (George Wang). As soon as they arrive, Mr. Hercules and Danny become embroiled in the wild and violent politics of the Hong Kong underworld. While battling through seemingly endless hoards of martial art goons the duo takes time to flirt, romance and cause endless mayhem.moreless
