Here Comes Kelly is the story of Irish American Jimmy Kelly (Eddie Quillian). Kelly has a bad temper and it keeps costing him every job he gets because he punches out anyone who offends him. Margie (Joanne Woodbury) is Kelly's girlfriend, and she's fed up with Kelly's inability to hold a steady job. His real dream is to attend night school to become a lawyer. This is something he can't do because a man he punched out on his last job is the school's registrar. Margie is happy when Kelly gets a job as a process-server. This is employment that puts his hot temper and aggressive personality to good use. He'll need his spunk when he has to serve papers to a gangster, Trixie Bell (Maxie Rosenbloom), an infamous gangster wanted for questioning in regards to a case of stock fraud. This light-hearted comedy from 1943 is directed by William Beaudine.
