Hiding Out is a 1987 comedy in which Andrew Morenski (Jon Cryer) is a young stock broker who is called to court to testify against a mobster. After hitmen kill a fellow witness in his home, Andrew goes into protective custody. He convinces the FBI agents assigned to protect him to leave the safe house for breakfast, and they are murdered. Andrew needs to go on the run. In order to escape the killers, he decides to pretend to be a high school student. While attending the high school, he is so witty and popular that he is elected class president. Against his better judgement, he falls for a cute co-ed (Ryan Campbell). One night, on his way back from a date, he discovers FBI agents are at his house, so he stays in the high school and befriends the janitor, Ezzard (Lou Walker). Will Andrew blow his cover, or earn a second high school diploma?
