High-Ballin' is a 1978 Canadian film about a group of commandeering outlaws that seek to steal and pillage products that are being transported via tractor-trailer trucks. Two close friends, 'Iron Duke' (Jerry Reed) and Rane (Peter Fonda), decide that enough is enough and set out to dispense their own form of vigilante justice on this group of outlaws. However, to administer retribution for these crimes, Duke and Rane must take on the merciless trucker kingpin, King Caroll (Chris Wiggins), who brings in millions of dollars in profits from his criminal business. He is both omnipotent in the industry and well armed. This film takes on a somber and dark tone as the story progresses. The characters have easily discernible intentions throughout the movie, making for a good clash of skill and wits as the film advances to its climax. Other cast and characters include Tanker (Christopher Langevin), Vonetta (Mary Pirie), and Bud (Leslie Carlson).
