High School Hellcats is a 1958 crime drama directed by Edward Brends. Joyce Martin (Yvonne Fedderson) is a beautiful and innocent teenager who has just moved to town with her family and is a student starting in a new school. She soon meets the Hellcats, an all-girl gang of juvenile delinquents known for bucking against authority and their bad attitude toward parents, teachers, and faculty in general. The Hellcats immediately pounce upon Joyce and her innocent-girl persona and look to sign her up with the gang. A typical teenager looking for acceptance, Joyce rebels against her parents and accepts their invitation. Soon, Joyce finds herself defying her parents and staying out late to dance and drink with her newfound friends. Joyce's antics begin to spiral out of control and she soon finds herself in trouble with the law. All the while, Joyce's parents wonder if there's any hope for bringing back the good girl they once knew.
