Set on the Greek island of Rhodes, High Season follows the lives of nine separate characters. Katherine (Bisset) and her husband Patrick (Fox), live in a small island town with their thirteen-year-old daughter Chloe (Ruby Baker). Katherine, however, is in desperate need of money, and is trying to sell an antique vase given to her by an elderly art historian who happens to be visiting. Meanwhile Penelope (Papas), Katherine's friend, battles with her son Yanni about the influx of tourists in their peaceful town. Rick (Branagh) becomes taken with Katherine, despite being married to Carol (Manville). Katherine gets lucky when Konstantinis (Stephens) decides that he wants to buy her vase, but first it must be declared a fake so that he can take it out of Greece.
