Nurse's Notebook: Hints for Health is a health documentary film developed by Paramount Home Entertainment for PBS that shares helpful hints and tips for home healthcare. Hosted by Patricia Carroll, a registered nurse with over twenty years experience in the medical field, it follows her program from her book, What Nurses Know and Doctors Don't Have Time To Tell You. Many people have little working knowledge of common ailments and injuries as well as simple treatments without rushing to the hospital or doctor. From headaches to rashes, sprains to cuts, Nurse's Notebook shares treatments that are so simple and easy to find within the household it is a bit surprising, such as celery's helpful aid in arthritis pain. In a time where knowledge is power, Nurse's Notebook is a great way to gain a collection of practical wisdom and medical knowledge to be used in everyday life.
