This series of interviews reveals the political motives behind the entertainment business while illuminating the struggles and triumphs of Hispanics. Entertainers such as Edward James Olmos, Antonio Banderas, and Jimmy Smits reveal what it takes to make it in the entertainment business. They reveal parts of their lives that otherwise would remain private. Jennifer Lopez's engaging life story involves her racially charged struggles to become an actress, dancer, record producer, and singer. Salma Hayek and Rita Moreno reveal their humble beginnings and share their life stories. Jimmy Smits answers questions about his family and discusses his productive career as a television star.
