Hog Island is a 2006 drama directed by Tom Clyde. In the film, Katherine (Arwen Anderson) is married to her computer programmer husband, Matthew (Lasse Christiansen). Together the couple live comfortably in San Francisco, California. One day, without any explanation, Katherine walks out of her house to get the newspaper and impulsively decides to leave. She gets in her car, in her robe and slippers, and begins to drive. Eventually, she ends up in Tomales Bay, on the north coast of California. Back home, her husband and her best friend, Claire (Christine Thompson) are struggling to put together why Katherine left Matthew and her life behind. Meanwhile, Katherine makes friends with two drifters, Jake (Tom Clyde), a herring boat detective, and Rich (Nick Sholley), a graduate school drop out. The drifters quickly begin to compete for Katherine's attention. When one of the men gets the upper hand on the other, a bitter rivalry breaks out. Who will Katherine choose, Matthew, Jake or Rich?moreless
