Hollywood Dreams is a 2007 comedy directed by Henry Jaglom. In the film, a young girl named Margie Chisek (Tanna Marie Frederick) determined to leave her troubled life in Iowa behind to become rich and famous, heads to Los Angeles. As soon as she gets off of the bus in L.A., she realizes that this city is nothing like her small hometown and she is more determined than ever to make it big. She lands an audition that could be the first big step to becoming famous, but performs badly and she does not get the part. She is able to pull herself back up and just when things seem to be turning back around for her, she meets Robin Mack (Justin Kirk), who is an up-and-coming actor. The two quickly fall in love but the relationship may hinder Margie's own chances of success. She quickly gets a glimpse of the good and the bad sides of Hollywood and may have to reconsider what parts of fame and fortune she wants.moreless
