Holyman Undercover is a 2010 comedy that follows a kind-hearted Amish man into the seedy heart of Hollywood. Roy Weichbrodt (David A.R. White) is a gentle farmer making a simple living and praying for the lost. Suddenly Roy feels called by God to go to the center of the entertainment industry to make sure that the gospel gets the widest distribution possible. He moves to Hollywood to evangelize. However, once he's there, he stumbles into a recording studio, and through a goof on the studio crew's part, he is accidentally put in the role of Satan on a hit television show. The show becomes a smash success, and suddenly Roy has all of the attention he had wanted, but also a lot that he didn't want. Director David White has made a number of movies with overtly Christian themes. Holyman Undercover picks up this inclination and wraps it in slapstick comedy.
