Honey, I Blew Up the Kids is the 1992 Walt Disney sequel to the 1989 film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. The film is an adventurous family comedy featuring the Szalinski family, Wayne (Rick Moranis), Diane (Marcia Strassman), teenagers, Nick (Robert Oliveri) and Amy (Amy O'Neil) and two-year-old, Adam (Daniel and Joshua Shalikar). Wayne is a wacky inventor who has a knack for creating innovative inventions that don't always do exactly what they are supposed to do. In this film, the Szalinski's oldest daughter Amy is preparing to leave for college. As Amy and her mother leave, Diane makes Wayne promise to keep a close eye on her two sons, Nick and Adam. Wayne reassures her he will and the adventure begins. Soon Wayne finds it harder to reign in his two-year-old than he thought. Wayne takes Nick and Adam to work with him at Sterling Labs so he can show him his latest invention. When an experiment goes wrong, Wayne has to figure out a way to reverse it.moreless
