Horse Feathers is a 1932 American comedy film starring the Marx Brothers. Professor Quincy Adams Wagstaff (Groucho Marx) has just been appointed president of Huxley College. His first act as the head of the prestigious institution is not to give the education system a shot in the arm, but to revive the school's fledgling football program. Wagstaff makes his feelings clear through a musical number titled "I'm Against It". Wagstaff's son, Frank (Zeppo Marx), informs his father that he can meet some ringers down at the local speakeasy. After a series of hilarious misunderstandings, Wagstaff signs Baravelli (Chico Marx) and Pinky (Harpo Marx), two local "ice men" and dog catchers who don't know a football from a foot to the rear. Upon arriving at the college, Baravelli and Pinky cause more trouble than their supposed football prowess is worth. Between becoming involved with Connie Baily (Thelma Todd), the college widow, and dealing with brutes from hated Darwin College, the Marx Brothers have their collegiate hands full and everything comes down to the big game.
