Horseman is a 2009 horror-thriller directed by Jonas Ackerlund. The movie features Dennis Quaid, Zhang Ziyi, Paul Dooley, Chelsea Ross, Peter Stormare and Patrick Fugit. Aiden Breslin (Quaid), plays a stressed out detective, who is still dealing with the recent death of his wife. He is called on to investigate a string of particularly brutal murders that may have some connection to him and his two sons. As he delves deeper into the crimes, he makes many troubling discoveries. The murders seem to hold a biblical connection to the prophecies of The Horsemen of the Apocalypse: war, famine, pestilence, and death. Kirsten, (Zhang Ziyi) is the adopted daughter of the first victim. and may hold the key the mysterious deaths. Each murder reveals a bizarre revelation even more terrifying than the previous. The movie takes a dramatic turn when evidence links four suspects to the crimes. The Horsemen is eerie, disturbing and will leave the viewer guessing until the end.moreless
