Hostile Guns is a 1967 Western film directed by R.G. Springsteen. It follows the story of U.S Marshall Gideon McCool (George Montgomery), who is escorting a train of convicted criminals across Texas on their way to Huntsville prison. By chance, Laura Mannon (Yvonne De Carlo), a dance hall girl and McCool's former passion, is also among the outlaws. She tries to use her charm to buy her way out of the trouble, but McCool remains loyal to his duties. She turns her seductive power towards the shotgun rider, Mike Reno (Tab Hunter), hoping he will be more sensitive to her charms and will offer her freedom. Mike's efforts to save the girl from prison land him in chains, but McCool is forced to release him when a gang of criminals led by Aaron Pleasant (John Russell) attacks them in attempt to free his brother. Will McCool and his partner manage to repel the assault and reach their destination safely?
