Hot Cars is an action film released in 1956 produced by both Schenck-Koch Productions and Bel-Air Productions. The story is based around Nick Dunn (John Bromfield), a desperate man living in Culver City, California, who needs to raise money quickly to help his son get an operation that could save his life. As a result, Nick gets himself mixed up in a gang that deals with stolen cars. However, Nick's problems have only just begun. Detective Davenport (Dabs Greer) comes into town and begins investigating, and as he gets closer to uncovering the crimes he is found dead and Nick discovers that he is the police's prime suspect for the murder. Now he is in trouble with both the gang and with the authorities as well. Nick is desperate, and as he attempts to escape everyone's clutches, the story reaches its thrilling climax and the ending is sure to surprise and shock you.
