Hot Rods to Hell is a 1967 action drama from director John Brahm. Following a car crash just before Christmas, family man Tom Phillips (Dana Andrews) is left with a back injury which requires him to give up his job and seek less strenuous work. On doctor's orders, Tom and his wife Peg (Jeanne Crain) decide to take the bold move to relocate their family from Boston, and become proprietors of a motel in the Californian desert, where the heat will be beneficial for Tom's back pain. All goes awry, however, when they encounter a hot rod gang on the road. The gang, led by the rebellious Duke (Paul Bertoya), begins an intimidation spree on the Phillips family. Tom has to decide what action to take, especially as his teenage daughter, Tina (Laurie Mock), has become enamored with Duke. Just what measures are necessary? Tom must decide before his family falls apart.
