Houdini The Man From Beyond Restored is a newly restored, digitally transferred version of the 1922 silent film The Man From Beyond. This version was completely restored frame by frame, eliminating dirt and picture flaws to present beautiful, amazing image quality. The Man From Beyond was directed by Burton L. King, written by Harry Houdini and Coolidge Streeter, and stars the legendary, world famous master of illusion, Harry Houdini, as a man who is brought back to life after being found frozen in the arctic tundra. Howard Hillary (Harry Houdini) is discovered after having been frozen for a hundred years in the arctic ice. Howard is thawed out and woken up. After awakening, he insists that a young woman, Felice (Jane Connelly), is his lover from over a century before. Howard is sent to stay in a mental institution, but escapes and comes to realize that he is not in his own time and that this new Felice is actually the descendant of his own Felice from a hundred years ago. Houdini The Man From Beyond Restored features scenes that were missing or censored from previous versions, and includes updated music by SonicFire.moreless
