How to Steal a Million is a 1966 comedy directed by William Wyler. In the film, Nicole Bonnet (Audrey Hepburn) is the daughter of a wealthy art dealer, Charles Bonnet (Hugh Griffith). Although everyone believes that Charles is great at finding very expensive pieces of art, he really is just a fraud, who forges the art he sells. Charles donated some of the best pieces of his collection to a famous art museum in Paris. The problem is that technology is catching up with Charles and professional collectors now have ways to tell the frauds from the real thing. Afraid that he father will be exposed as a fraud, Nicole decides to steal her father's art piece from the museum before anyone can find out. She hires Simon O'Toole to help her with the robbery but neither one of them knows the real story about each other. Between art, robbery and love, this comical duo may just be able to pull it off.moreless
