How to Swim is a 1942 short Disney animated comedy directed by Jack Kinney. Goofy (George Johnson) is preparing to enjoy a day of swimming at a beachfront resort, but before he goes he must practice his swimming techniques. Goofy begins to show off his skills, while the narrator (John McLeish) points out mistakes, or things that Goofy could have done better. First Goofy picks out a fashionable bathing suit, and then tries to change in a tiny changing hut. Once he manages to get it on, he begins to practices his swim strokes while sitting on a piano stool. All of his practicing makes him hungry, and he decides to have a big lunch. Directly after swimming, Goofy decides to perfect his diving techniques. When he has completed his diving practice he attempts to surf in an inner tube. Will all of Goofy's training prepare him for a successful day at a beach front resort?
