Howling 7 is the 1995 direct to video sixth sequel to the popular first film that started the beloved were-series, this time directed by star-writer-director Clive Turner (Howling 4: The Original Nightmare, Howling V: The Rebirth), taken from source material by original novel author Gary Bradner. In a small town in California, a stranger, Ted (Turner) wanders in. Already edgy due to a recent murder in the town, the sheriff (John Ramsden) decides to keep an eye on him. While in town, Ted begins to fall for a widowed woman, Bonnie (Bonnie Lagassa). Before their relationship goes anywhere, Ted becomes the prime suspect in a wave of murders the local priest (Jack Huff, Sackcloth and Scarlet, Zander the Great, The Limited Mail, Keep Smiling, Frenzied Flames) believes did it. After finally realizing Ted didn't do it, the town goes on a manhunt to find the real culprit.
