Howling VII: New Moon Rising, often times known as just New Moon Rising is a popular horror film that debuted in 1995. The film was seen as somewhat of a cult classic during its time period. This movie is a sequel to The Howling and was a direct to video flick. The film begins with a loner motorcyclist coming into town, Ted, (Clive Turner) who becomes a suspect in the disappearance of several local people. (Ted is linked to the former Howling movies as well). Their bodies soon turn up, mangled beyond any resemblance of their former selves, and a priest (Jack Hoff) suggests this is the work of a werewolf. The film then turns to the investigation of the local police and the townspeople wondering who is the werewolf and how to stop it. The film is directed by Clive Turner, who also wrote and also appears in the film.
