Huk is the 1956 story of an American, Greg Dickson (George Montgomery), who returns to his childhood home in the Philippines following the death of his father. Greg's plan is to sell his father's estate quickly, and return to the United States, but his boyhood friend Bart Rogers (John Baer) and his wife Cindy (Mona Freeman) warn Greg that a vicious gang of guerrillas known as Huks are attacking local land owners and plundering their estates. On the way back from the airport, the three are able to thwart a Huk attack before being met by Bart's father, Stephen Rogers (James Bell), and Major Balatbat (Teddy Benavedes), who tells Greg that the leader of the Huks is actually his father's killer. Will Greg get revenge on the Huk leader or fall victim to the Huks like the other plantation owners? Huk was directed by John Barnwell, from a script by Oscar-winning screenwriter Stirling Silliphant.
