Human Feelings is comedy about a dissatisfied angel, Miles (Billy Crystal), who is trying to find his purpose in life. When God (Nancy Walker) keeps getting disappointing reports from the angels, she decides to make an example of Las Vegas by destroying the city with fire and floods. Believing that humanity is worth saving, Miles accepts a deal from God: find six righteous people before the New Year, which is one week away, and Las Vegas will be spared. After descending upon Las Vegas, Miles finds that his task is much harder than he thought. He raises the suspicions of mob boss and hotel owner Johnny Turner (Armand Assante) after attempting to find potential righteous people at the hotel. During his search, he befriends hotel maid, Verna (Pamela Sue Martin), who is constantly assaulted by Johnny. As time draws near, Miles wonders if he will ever find one good person, let alone six.
