Husbands and Wives is a biographical film about the high's and low's of marriage made by Woody Allen in 1992. The story revolves around two married couples: Sally (Judy Davis) and Jack (Sydney Pollack); and Gabe (Woody Allen) and Judy (Mia Farrow). One night, during a get together at Gabe and Judy's house, Sally and Jack announce that they will be splitting up. Gabe and Judy are utterly disappointed to hear that their friends will be splitting up, but they remain friends regardless. Jack consequently starts seeing an air-headed, young and attractive aerobics instructor, while Judy starts seeing an elderly man named Michael (Liam Neeson). Meanwhile, Gabe and Judy can't help but peer into their own relationship and begin scrutinizing their marriage. Gabe, seemingly inspired by Jack and his fling with a younger woman, begins a shameless flirtation with one of his students named Rain (Juliette Lewis). But Judy is just as busy developing a crush on Sally's new boyfriend, Michael. Surprisingly, Sally and Jack rekindle their relationship and get back together, but Gabe and Judy are unhappy in their marriage and decide to break-up. Husbands and Wives is a classic Woody Allen film you don't want to miss!moreless
